Shadows cast through her glacial creation and Elsa stiffened, not expecting there to be people this far north. Fear coursed in her veins like the ice she wouldn’t doubt fueled her very being and with tentative steps she came toward the main chamber.

“Hello?”

           The fear was frightening in itself. The fear that clung to the woman’s voice like this palace on the mountain.

            Ara hated being the object of people’s fear.

            “I’m not going to hurt you.” She called out, hoping to calm the woman.

“I suppose this is an urgent matter,” the queen said, more patience in her tone than she thought she would have. “What brings you to the castle?”

             The patience was a surprise- To put it frankly.

Lesser rulers have threatened her execution when she sneaked into their castles.

                        “I’m looking…

                 Simple hope, of course, that was enough.
