”Curse…” Elsa repeated idly. “I may have a bit of experience with those, though we should probably move elsewhere to discuss this.” She made a gesture for the girl to follow.
As they walked toward the royal library, Elsa turned to the girl. “What is your name, if you don’t mind me asking?”
Ara followed the queen dutifully. She knew about curses. Perhaps she knew how to break them.
Now the library was amazing, but Ara was immediately distracted from her amazement by her question. Her name? Of course, it was rude not to give it.
"It’s Ara. I’m Ara. So… Do you know how to break curses?“
was obvious enough. Elsa had learned to be cautious of cunning strangers. She raised an eyebrow.
”A witch?” she inquired, more curious than incredulous. ”And why have did you come to look for a WITCH in Arendelle?”
Unless, of course, Elsa was the supposed “witch” that this girl was seeking out. That was always a possibility. Sorcery came with those kinds of drawbacks.
“I’m looking everywhere, not just… Arendelle, as you say.”
Now she felt the atmosphere shift to caution.
“Of course, this certain witch…”
“She’s an older woman, inconspicuous looking. And I need to find her to get rid of the curse she put on me.”
She scrutinized the other girl with cautious eyes. Elsa didn’t know what to expect from her—she had come into the castle unannounced. Apparently the servants had no control of the situation.
“I suppose this is an urgent matter,” the queen said, more patience in her tone than she thought she would have. “What brings you to the castle?”
The patience was a surprise- To put it frankly.
Lesser rulers have threatened her execution when she sneaked into their castles.
